Q33. Can I have a consultation in English at CELITA Clinic?
At CELITA Clinic, you can have your consultation in English, Chinese or Japanese. Staff who speak these three languages work on site, so you do not need to request a separate interpreter, and if you mention your preferred language when booking, you will be connected with a staff member who speaks it. The aftercare cards you receive after treatment are also available in each language.

From abroad, you can book through a messaging channel for your language or through CELITA Clinic's online booking page. The channels are WhatsApp for English, LINE for Japanese and Traditional Chinese, and WeChat for Simplified Chinese; just send your name in English, date of birth, contact details, the treatment you want and your preferred date and time. After your inquiry and a consultation, once the date is confirmed, visit the clinic with your ID (passport).

Before visiting CELITA Clinic, it helps to prepare your passport (ID) for identity checks, a list of medications and supplements you take, your allergy and previous treatment history, and your departure date. Narrowing your concerns to 2-3 and ranking them helps the consultation plan your treatment more accurately. Preparation that differs by treatment, such as fasting or whether to take medication, should be confirmed by messaging app before your visit.

You can have treatment during a short trip, and CELITA Clinic adjusts the treatment with the departure date you share at consultation in mind. How long swelling, bruising and redness last differs by treatment, so treatments that may cause bruising or swelling, such as filler or thread lifts, are recommended on the last day of your trip. Recovery varies between individuals, so it is a good idea to leave some slack in your travel plans.

Whether you can fly right after treatment depends on the type of treatment and your individual condition, so it is judged individually at consultation. No authoritative common guideline could be found on when to fly after non-surgical lifting or skin boosters, and CELITA Clinic adjusts treatment with the departure date you share at consultation in mind, including whether flying on the same day is possible. Reactions such as swelling and bruising vary between individuals, so it is a good idea to leave some time before your departure.

After returning home, keep following the precautions on the aftercare card you received in your language, and send any questions or unusual symptoms through the messaging channel you used to book. CELITA Clinic's general guidance is to avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, swimming and strenuous exercise for 1 week and not to rub the treated area. If symptoms are urgent or severe, getting care at a local medical facility right away comes first.
